Visiting Scholar at ECE, Carnegie Mellon University working on Big Data Analysis for Cognitive Networks (2016-2017).

I was an Associate Professor at Department of Informatics, Federal University of Paraná, Curitiba, Brazil (2010-2020).

CNPq Research Fellow, Brazil.

D.Sc. in Computer Science, UPMC - Sorbonne Universités/LIP6, Paris, France. Member of Phare Team.

In 2009, I was a Postdoctoral Scholar at Telecom ParisTech (before: École Nationale Supérieure des Telecommunications - ENST), Paris, France, and a Visiting Researcher at the Broadband Networking Laboratory (BWN-Lab), Georgia Institute of Technology (GeorgiaTech), Atlanta, USA, at the beginning of the same year.

In 2012, I was an Invited Researcher at the Laboratoire de Recherche en Informatique, Université Paris Sud, Orsay, France.

In 2013, I was an Invited Professor at the Institut de Recherche en Informatique de Toulouse (IRIT), Institut National Polytechnique de Toulouse (INP-Toulouse), Toulouse, France.

I serve as Associate Technical Editor for the IEEE Communications Magazine and Journal of Network and Systems Management.

Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), SIGMOBILE ACM Special Interest Group and Brazilian Computing Society (SBC).
